Duren is the card game the world knows as durak — дурак in Russian, дурень in Ukrainian. It is the most popular card game in Eastern Europe. Players attack with cards, the defender beats them with a higher card of the same suit or with a trump, and whoever is left holding cards when the deck runs out is the fool.
Every common variant is here: throw-in (підкидний, подкидной), pass-on (перевідний, переводной), pass-on by showing a trump (проїзний дурак), teams 2×2, a 24, 36 or 52-card deck, and a free mode where the app stops enforcing the rules and the players catch each other out instead.
It runs entirely in the browser: no downloads, no account, no sign-up. Create a private room, send your friends the link, and play — or fill the empty chairs with bots. The interface is available in English and Ukrainian.
